Submit a request
- Open Loop and go to Me.
- Go to Account and security → Data and permissions → Delete account.
- Read the information, then follow the prompts to confirm and submit.
- Return to the deletion page to check progress and any actions you need to take.
What happens next
A deletion request covers your account and associated personal data, including your profile, friend relationships, messages and uploaded content linked to the account. This includes data that the relevant service providers need to process. Successful submission means the request has been recorded, not that this data has been deleted.
The full process for removing account and service-provider data is not yet generally available. Until processing is complete, your request may remain in progress or require further handling. Once account deletion is actually completed, it cannot be reversed.
Processing status and completion
Check the deletion page in the app for progress. An in-progress status or a request for further handling does not mean your account and associated data have been deleted. Deletion is finished only when cleanup has actually completed and the completed status is shown.
The complete cleanup process is not yet generally available, so an estimated completion time is not currently provided. Contact support for information about your request.
Information that may remain
Necessary security records, information that must be retained by law and backups that have not yet expired may not be removed immediately. Copies of messages or files saved independently by other users are outside Loop's control.
Can't submit or check a request?
